FAQ

frequently asked questions

  • What is a Personal Fitness Trainer

I teach our clients how to maximize the benefit of EACH second in our sessions to obtain optimal results.

I might also be called a Personality Trainer. The mental aspect of pursuing fitness and exercise is the difference between achievers and those that never reach their mark. Any one can teach you a bicep curl or how to bench press; however, training you to meet specific goals in the safest and most efficient way possible requires more than exercise instruction. Developing a sense of commitment, dedication and resilience to reaching these goals is a major part of our training.

I seek to develop within my clients the discipline and resilience to train effectively, safely and with a strong sense of purpose. A strong mental game is what will keep going and focused for years to come. It will help you in your fitness pursuits but will develop a sense of empowerment throughout your life.

I coach, guide and motivate you to help you reach the health and fitness goals you need to reach.  This is done through customized exercise program design and careful monitoring of your progress within each session and in the scope of your program.

  • Will I be starving if I follow your meal plan suggestions?

We need to build a healthy relationship with food. Starving is not safe, effective or desirable. Any meal plan suggestions are made with this in mind and education is a essential part of any suggestions that are made – for meal planning as well as training.

My goal is teach you HOW to think about that food, not WHAT to think. This is an essential part of empowerment and creating strong willed clients that reach their goals.
